Innovation and the real benefits of decarbonisation
The UK’s energy sector is an engine of growth, with Liverpool and the North West taking a leading role in the push to decarbonise and innovate. How should the energy industry ensure true long-term benefits, while delivering the pragmatic steps needed to get projects under way?
Join us in Liverpool for a dynamic event unpacking the innovations and the long-term opportunities of emerging clean technologies.
Liverpool has a rich history of tackling industrial challenges and this event looks at the upcoming opportunities.
Guy Newey, CEO of Energy Systems Catapult, will start things off in a fireside chat, guiding us through the dynamism and innovation of the GB Energy sector and the trends he sees as business critical in the run up to 2030 and beyond
Then, a diverse group of operators participate in a panel session. HyNet, EET and Spirit Energy will be looking at the big questions on deploying first of a kind CCS and hydrogen projects in the North West.
Finally, we open the programme, bringing in diverse voices from the floor. Together, audience members will discuss how to create long-term benefits for the region and the workforce.
Facilitated by members of our experienced editorial team, the event will connect diverse perspectives and generate actionable strategies that can be applied not only to hydrogen and carbon capture, but also to a broader range of emerging technologies.
This event gives you the chance to have your say in how the region should develop, both in the structured discussion and the tailored networking opportunities.
